During the coronavirus epidemic, many states have introduced special requirements for transit through their airports. As a rule, they relate to the need to have a coronavirus test and fill out special forms. It is important to know these criteria, because without fulfilling them you will not be allowed on the plane. In this publication, for your convenience, we have collected the conditions for transit through those airports that serve flights on the way from Ukraine, Russia and the CIS countries to Mexico.
The coronavirus situation is developing very dynamically, powers are introducing new criteria and changing existing ones, therefore we intend to keep the data on this page up to date.
By transit we mean a connection in which the passenger between flights does not leave the «clean» (transit) area of the airport. As a rule, countries' transit regulations limit stay in this zone to 24 hours.
We do not consider visa criteria here. They are described in other publications on our website and did not change during the epidemic, except for entry bans.

Istanbul
No test needed.
No health form required.
Amsterdam
Testnot needed (from 06/07/2021).
Test language: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or Dutch. In original, paper or electronic form.
A vaccination certificate is not accepted.
Form. A Traveler public health declaration is only required when departing from «very high risk» (high-risk country). You can view the list of such countriesHere. Must be completed before boarding the flight. In addition, it can be filled out electronically before boarding at the airline counter. Paris

Frankfurt

USA
Certificatevaccination is required.

- antigen test taken no earlier than 72 hours before boarding the flight, OR
- Real-time PCR test taken no earlier than 72 hours before boarding the flight, OR
- rapid molecular test such as LAMP, NAAT, taken no earlier than 72 hours before boarding the flight, OR
- (for passengers who have recovered from illness) a document of recovery + a positive antibody test done within the last 90 days.
Test language: English or whatever the airline accepts. In original, paper or electronic form.
UPD. From December 6, 2021, the test validity period for all passengers is 1 day, not 3, without exception.
Formhealth (passenger tracking) is mandatory. It must be filled out before boarding the flight.
Madrid
No test needed.

Lisbon

A vaccination certificate is not accepted.

Cuba
There are no connecting flights through Cuba.
Let us also remind you that you do not need a coronavirus test to enter Mexico, but you must fill out a special formformhealth, both upon arrival and upon departure from the country.
