In a number of countries around the world, including Mexico, there are public registries of telephone numbers whose owners want to avoid intrusive calls from, say, television advertising or marketing campaigns. Their code name — «Don't call me». TV advertising operators must consult this register before offering products, services or conducting marketing surveys to subscribers.
In Mexico this registry is calledRegistro Público para Evitar Publicidad(REPEP).
Every owner of a telephone in Mexico, cellular and landline, has the opportunity to add his number to this registry. Then click on the blue buttonRegistrar. Registration is completed!
