Where to get money transfer in Mexico – How live in Mexico

Of course, it is allowed to process a money transfer sent from abroad in Mexico. All the world's largest money transfer systems are present in the country: Western Union, MoneyGram International, Moneybookers, iKobo and others. Finding their points for accepting and issuing payments will not be difficult, just open Google maps and type the name of the required payment system. Thus, Western Union points are available in almost every Electra and Coppel store, in branches of many banks, MoneyGram payments can be received in convenience stores. OXXO or in Farmacias del Ahorro pharmacies. Banks can serve clients of several payment systems at once.

Difficulties can begin when the payment system operator finds out that you have a Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, or Moldovan passport. Or a passport from a number of other countries such as Cuba, Colombia, and some Asian powers. With vague wording that these countries are unreliable or on some kind of black list, the transfer is refused. In this case, the operator sees the transfer in the system, but cannot do anything. Refusals are not total, but very frequent. A similar problem occurs when opening an account in Mexican banks.

It is noteworthy that if the transfer came, say, from the USA, then it will be issued to you. In other words, the sender's country also matters.

If you have any difficulties receiving a money transfer, contact Telecomm offices, they are located in every city. At Telecomm there are no refusals to issue money related to the citizenship of the recipient or the country of the sender.
