READY FOOD PRODUCTS; ALCOHOLIC AND SOFT DRINKS AND VINEGAR; TOBACCO AND ITS SUBSTITUTES
1. In this section, the term «granules» means products agglomerated either directly by compression or with the addition of a binder in an amount not exceeding 3% by weight.

READY PRODUCTS FROM MEAT, FISH OR CRUSTACEANS, MOLLUSCS OR OTHER AQUATIC INVERTEBRATES
Note:
1. This chapter does not include meat, meat by-products, fish, crustaceans, molluscs or other aquatic invertebrates prepared or preserved by the methods specified in Chapter 02 or 03 or heading 05.04.
2. This group includes prepared products provided that they contain more than 20% by weight of sausage, meat, meat by-products, blood, fish or crustaceans, molluscs or other aquatic invertebrates, or any combination of these products. If the finished products contain two or more of the ingredients specified above, they are classified in heading 16 for the predominant ingredient or ingredients by weight. These provisions do not apply to stuffed products of heading 19.02 or to prepared products of heading 21.03 or 21.04.
Notes to subheadings:
1. In subheading 1602.10, the term «homogenized prepared products» means prepared products of meat, meat by-products or blood, finely ground, put up for retail sale as infant or diet food in packages with a net weight of not more than 250 g. This does not take into account small quantities of any ingredients added to the finished products as a seasoning, preservative or for other purposes. These finished products have the ability to contain small amounts of visible pieces of meat or meat by-products. Subheading 1602.10 is of primary importance to heading 16.02.
2. Fish, crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates in subheadings of heading 16.04 or 16.05 are given only by their common names and are the same species as those mentioned in Chapter 03 under the same names.
