Note:
1. This chapter does not cover the following goods, which are required to be included in Section XI: plant materials or fibers used primarily for the production of textile materials, regardless of the method of manufacture, or other plant materials processed for their use exclusively as textile materials.
2. Heading 14.01 covers bamboo (whether or not split, sawn lengthwise or sawn, cut to length or not cut to length, rounded at the ends or not rounded, bleached or not bleached, flame retardant treated or untreated, polished or unpolished, dyed or undyed), split willow, cane, etc., pith of rattan palm, cored or split along the stems of rattan palm. This heading does not contain wood chips (heading 44.04).
3. Heading 14.04 does not contain wood wool (heading 44.05) or prepared knots or tufts for the manufacture of brooms or brushes (heading 96.03).
