Russian guest state operator Anex Tour announced the extension of the flight program to Mexico for the summer season of 2022. Flights from Moscow to the Mexican resort of Cancun will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, until October 30.
Carrier — airline Azur Air — operates flights to Mexico on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft designed to carry 428 passengers, including 42 seats in business class and 386 seats in economy class.

Anex Tour reports that the cost of tours to 5* hotels starts from 198 thousand rubles for 10 nights when staying at the Riu Lupita hotel on an all-inclusive basis. A tour for a family of 3 people will cost 266 thousand rubles for 10 nights when staying at the Bahia Principe Grand Coba 5* hotel "all inclusive".
Until recently, it was possible to buy tickets for flights to Mexico on the Azur Air website; now they are sold only as part of tour packages.
In addition to Azur Air, Russian airlines Nordwind (3 times a month) and Aeroflot (5 times a week) now fly to Mexico. Nordwind serves the travel flows of the tour operator Pegas Touristik.
Mexico is now considered one of the top tourist destinations in the world. To visit the state, Russians only need to obtain a free electronic permit. Mexico does not require a vaccination certificate or a coronavirus test upon entry.
