Xcaret Park in Mexico introduces daily visit limit

Xcaret in Mexico introduces daily visit limit

In July 2025, the Xcaret ecopark, located on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, will introduce a limit on the number of visitors per day. The innovation is aimed at improving service, reducing congestion and creating a richer and more relaxing experience for each guest. In an official statement, the administration emphasized: the goal — preserve the unique atmosphere, reduce queues and highlight the natural and cultural value of the park.

When planning a visit, visitors are advised to book tickets in advance, as once the daily limit is reached, entry to the park will be closed. As a priority, the measure will affect the most common areas: underground rivers, the evening show Xcaret México Espectacular, as well as natural and ethnographic pavilions.

However, the Xcaret statement does not say how many visitors the park is allowed to receive per day and how exactly the entry restriction will be implemented. Currently, entrance tickets to the park can be purchased both on the Xcaret website and at the ticket office and from agents. In addition, guests of Xcaret hotels have unlimited access to all Xcaret parks.

Xcaret— Mexico's largest private eco-park, located in Playa del Carmen (Quintana Roo state). This is a themed complex on the Caribbean coast, combining natural beauty (jungles, underground rivers, cenotes) with cultural shows, exhibitions, crafts and living museums. It is owned by Grupo Xcaret and is known for promoting Mexican identity and eco-tourism. Visit to the park — it is at the same time entertainment, education and acquaintance with the cultural heritage of the state.

The official website of Grupo Xcaret indicates that the park receives an average of about 1,200,000 visitors annually. The Travel2latam website reports that on normal days the park is capable of receiving 3000-4000 visitors, and at peak load — up to 10,000 people per day.
