Aeroflfrom started selling tickets to Mexico

The Russian airline Aeroflot has opened ticket sales on the route Moscow — Cancun. Flights will begin on November 18, 2021, and will operate 3 times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The current schedule is planned until March, and it can be assumed that the flights will be seasonal. Flights are direct on an Airbus A350 aircraft, designed to carry 316 passengers, including 28 seats in business class.

Airfare is relatively low, especially compared to travel charter tickets. A flight from Moscow to Cancun and back in economy class will cost 55,000 rubles without luggage, in business class — from 164,000 ₽. The price includes 10 kg hand luggage and meals on board. For 1,300 ₽ you can purchase additional transportation of checked baggage weighing 23 kg in each direction.

Tickets can be purchased both on the Aeroflot website, including using miles, and on aggregator websites.

Today, Azur Air and Nordwind airlines are already flying from Russia to Mexico, carrying out transportation on behalf of guests of the sovereign operators Anex Tour and Pegas Touristik. In the near future, we can expect a decision from the Russian Operational Headquarters for the fight against coronavirus to increase the permitted frequency of flights to Mexico.

In the 70-90s, Aeroflot already flew to the capital of Mexico with a stop in Havana. Now the priority for the airline is Cancun as a popular destination for guests. Demand for holidays in Mexico seasonally increases in winter, which guarantees Aeroflot a successful start to flights.

Conditions for entry into Mexico for travelers remain extremely simple. You should not provide a coronavirus test or vaccination certificate. You just need to fill out the health form — before boarding, on the plane or upon arrival. For Russian travelers, entry into Mexico is possible with an electronic permit, which can be issued online without payment.
