BBVA México has announced the launch of a new promotion for its clients: the bank will provide free access to ChatGPT for a period of three months. The offer applies to the financial institution's 34 million customers and starts on January 26, 2026.
This is a free trial of the basic paid ChatGPT Go plan, which usually costs 110 Mexican pesos per month. Consequently, those who contact BBVA have the right to test one of the most popular artificial intelligence tools in the world without payment.
ChatGPT — is a digital tool based on artificial intelligence designed to communicate with users, explain complex topics in simple language, help with writing texts, analyzing information and preparing documents. At the same time, the developers and the bank emphasize that, like any digital tool, the system is subject to errors and does not replace human thinking or decision-making.
ChatGPT Go is the platform's most affordable paid plan. It contains restrictions on the number of daily dialogues, but allows you to:
- create images,
- upload files,
- use basic personal memory to speed up interaction,
- Get support for planning tasks and working with content.
The official OpenAI platform notes that this plan is designed for longer conversations, in-depth exploration of topics, and personalized responses compared to the free version.
After completing the three-month no-payment period, the user independently decides whether to continue the subscription. Subject to renewal, payment will be debited from the client’s credit card, and the bank will award a bonus of 1000 points.
BBVA México becomes one of the first Mexican banks to directly integrate access to the popular AI platform into a benefits package for its customers.
