And it doesn’t matter that a person was born in Central Asia during the USSR.
Entry with a Mexico visa is preferable to entry with an E-Permit or other visas. It is assumed that when you receive a Mexico visa, you have already been checked by the consulate.
Confirmation of financial solvency has recently become one of the most pressing issues both when obtaining a Mexican visa and when entering the country. Bank account statements are often falsified. This does not mean that you should dump a ton of cash in front of the immigration officer. Make sure that your statement inspires confidence and that your financial solvency is not in doubt. Support the extract with a certificate from your place of employment, this is not necessary.
Change your arrival airport. We're not sure this is good advice because we can't back it up with statistics. But in Cancún the number of refusals at entry to tourists is really less than in Mexico City. There are more fewer flights at smaller airports, such as Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta or Merida. But there are practically no flights there from Europe. But you can fly there from neighboring countries.
Change airline. In particular, Turkish Airlines has the ability to not allow you onto a flight if you have previously flown to Mexico with this airline and were denied entry, as a result of which the airline was forced to take you back. In other words, the airline will sell you a ticket, but will not board you on the flight.
Do not buy tickets to and from Mexico in one booking. When you receive a ticket at the entrance, you are no longer entitled to return your return ticket, since you have already used the outbound flight segment. This is not always possible, since, for example, Turkish Airlines will not put you on a flight if the round trip tickets are in different bookings.
Fly to Mexico from any neighboring country. The statement that for successful entry you should fly to Mexico from the «correct» states such as the USA, European powers or your nationality is incorrect. If you are denied entry, then you are taken to the country where you arrived, and not to the country of your citizenship. The fare for tickets to Mexico from Latin American countries is significantly lower than from Europe. When you try to enter again, you can save on long-haul flights.
Don’t even think about offering a bribe to the migration service employees at the airport! You will instantly receive a refusal at the entrance. Only this from order will already be formalized as deportation, with inclusion in the migration registers and a ban on entry to Mexico for years.
